Yes you must go through pre-screening. If you start in the wrong service you may have a negative experience and may not be able to continue. You may even injure yourself. We want you to have the best possible experience at the studio. And come back again and again to reach your goals.
If you have never done Pilates before or have an injury or other health condition, we recommend you begin with an Initial consult which is a one hour session, one on one with an instructor and includes a postural assessment and a review of your individual needs. The fundamentals of the Pilates methodology are also reviewed.
If you have prior Pilates experience and you have no injuries or certain health conditions, you can book straight into our Group Classes once you have completed our Health Questionnaire which you can bring with you to your first session. If you are unsure of the best way to start, please contact the studio and we can help you to get started.
If you have an injury, pain or medical condition you will need to have an Initial Consultation with one of our Instructors first. We may request clearance from your GP or Physiotherapist before continuing with your Pilates journey and this will be established in that Initial Consultation.
